Apple App Store Requirements

Apple enforces strict dimensional requirements. If you do not provide these exact sizes, your app cannot be submitted for review.

  • 6.7" Display (iPhone 15/16 Pro Max): 1290 x 2796 pixels (Required)
  • 6.5" Display (iPhone 11 Pro Max): 1242 x 2688 pixels (Required)
  • 5.5" Display (iPhone 8 Plus): 1242 x 2208 pixels (Required)
  • iPad Pro (12.9-inch): 2048 x 2732 pixels (Required if iPad supported)

Rule of thumb: You must provide a minimum of one set for the 6.7" and 5.5" displays. All other iPhone sizes can scale automatically via App Store Connect.

Google is historically much more lenient with exact dimensions but has strict minimums and maximums regarding the aspect ratio.

  • Minimum Dimension: 320 pixels
